I copied some files (40GB) to my SSD which is also my boot drive but when I put it back in my system the files aren't there and when I connect it up to my laptop they have disappeared there as well. does anyone know how I can delete the files or at least be able to view them?

thanks

Hey there, Baumy15!

I'd suggest to try un-hiding the folders and files on the SSD. Follow these steps:
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/show-hidden-files-and-folders-in-windows-vista/

I'd also scan for malware just in case, some sort of a virus might be causing this as well.

Keep me posted! Hope this helps! :)
