SSD filling up but not downloading anything?

When I first downloaded my windows 8.1 os and drivers on my new custom built computer it had around 60 gb free of 111 gb. Recently, the free space started going down. Just today it went from 55.5 free to 54.8 then 52.7 free gb of 111 gb. And I haven't downloaded anything so I don't understand why the free space keeps going down. Can someone please help? I re-routed all my files to my HDD so even if I was to download anything it should go there and not my SSD.

try ccleaner an run it. you would be surprise how much junk it gets rid of.
