So i just got a new Samsung 830 series ssd and installed it into my system, and it wasn't showing up under my computer. I i went to disk management and found it, and somehow i have managed to format it to CDFS -.-

I can't figure out how to fix this to save my life, any help would be much appreciated.

How did you fix it?

You may need to wipe it using DISKPART.

DISKPART is a command line tool (DOS).

Try this: Start/cmd in search/right click on cmd/choose run as admin/diskpart/list disk/select disk #(whatever one is the SSD)/clean

This should wipe the drive of all it's stuff (MBR/partitions/etc.)

I just glossed over the steps, you can google DISKPART to find a better list of it's commands, but I just tried what I listed, and it'll work.
