Im fairly certain my psu failing caused corrupted files on my ssd a few days before my psu failed all the way. Is it safe to plug in this drive into my new mobo and new psu? Or could it damage them? I know hdd drives can im wondering if same applies to ssd.

corrupted data doesn't damage hardware

i found this article about short circuits

i am just paranoid about frying new stuff. Sounds like it would have to go through some protections before damaging new stuff if it is short circuited and is not likely.
