Im fairly certain my psu failing caused corrupted files on my ssd a few days before my psu failed all the way. Is it safe to plug in this drive into my new mobo and new psu? Or could it damage them? I know hdd drives can im wondering if same applies to ssd.
There are few things that can compare with the sinking feeling you get when you go to turn your computer on and it quickly dies a moment later due to hardware problems. With that issue in mind, today’s SuperUser Q&A post has the answer to a stressed-out reader’s question.
i am just paranoid about frying new stuff. Sounds like it would have to go through some protections before damaging new stuff if it is short circuited and is not likely.
i wikipediad short circuit. There needs to be two seperate voltages, like from mobo to ssd, but from ssd to mobo only 5v. So i guess it cant fry anything even if it is physically busted. Thx 4 answering.
