Windows 7
Asus Maximus Hero VII
Samsung Evo 860 1TB
Seagate barracuda 2TB 7200rpm

Okay so the samsung Evo 860 SSD (where windows is installed) is on SATA port 1 and the HDD is on sata port 2, I'm able to boot at SSD and HDD are both recognized in BIOS. HDD is also recognized in Device Manager, but for some reason, does not show up in My computer. Only the SSD shows up as C:

Any ideas?

Show us a screencap of the Disk Management window.

Likely is just not formatted and has no drive letter.
LOL. Exactly what happened. So I took off the SSD, installed windows on the HDD for the first time, and reconnected the SSD. Now they both show up. It's my first time using two drives. Thank you for the suggestions!

Still completely unsure of what you have.

The OS was installed on the SSD?
And now you've also installed another copy on the HDD?

If so, completely wrong thing to do.
