Question SSD+HDD setup question

If I use my SSD as a boot drive, and HDD as a storage drive, will that just speed up my PC's start time? Or will other things like my games in steam load faster as well? If so, how would I have to configure it to make my steam games run off the SSD and load faster?

It's more than just the boot time.
Whatever is installed on the SSD will run at SSD performance. Fast.
Whatever lives on the HDD will run at HDD speed. Slow(er)

What size are these drives? Which OS?
