I recently built a computer and started out with a 128Gb SSD. I realize now that I definitely need much more room with the school work and video games that I have. I purchased a 1Tb HDD and installed it. I want to keep my OS (Windows 7) installed on my SSD but would like to have everything else put on the HDD. What would the best way be to transfer the games from the SSD to the HDD and what files should I not be transferring?

Thanks in advance!

I'm afraid you can't transfer installed games & other software like that because the drive letter references & paths will be all wrong in the Windows Registry, so you'll just get constant errors when you try to start the game or application.

Not only that, when you install any software it installs support files in several folders inside the Windows folder, so it would be impossible to tell you where to find them for transferring.

You will have to uninstall the apps & games you want to move from the SSD, then re-install them on the 1TB hard drive.
