Please can anyone tell me whats the difference between SOLID STATE DRIVE {SSD} and HARD DISK DRIVE {HDD} with easy way ???? { not complicated }

hdd have spinning platters... layers of circles....
ssd are like big usb sticks.. no moving parts... alot faster..

very basic, but u get the idea...
