SSD Health question

Hi everyone, few weeks I got weird problem with windows 10, bluescreen error was "Critical_process_died". After re-installing windows 10 everything was fine. Now sometimes It catch lag or complete freeze for a moment and when I reboot Windows try to check and repair disk but only get's 1% and nothing more.I gave it like 5h and not even 2% so i decided to turn off PC and skip windows check.I downloaded HD tune but as soon as I start Error check It crashes, so I tried Crystal Disk info but I don't know how to read that, health status says good but there is a lot of "Vendor Specific". I've searched net and people had only few of it.

Should I consider buying new disk?

Open the pc case (power off) and check the SSD data and power cables. Ensure that they are both firmly and securely in place. Both ends.

Inspect the plugs and ports. Look for signs of damage that may be interfering with connectivity.

Event Viewer may provide some additional insight regarding the freezes and crashes. Look for error codes and warnings just before or at the time of the freezes and crashes.

Sorry but I think Its too late, when I tried to open your url PC got so slow that I was unable to use It anymore, had to restart It but It wasn't able to boot propertly, so I decided to reinstall OS.I've installed fresh Windows 7 (deleted whole partition and created new one) It was fine,in HD tune all green and on SMART only B5(Retired Block Count) and C4(Reallocated Event Count) both at 93 (I've read that if its under 1000 Its safe), PC works fine but there is one major problem after using computer to play game even If game is from HDD PC just shutdown without error bluescreen etc. just like power off (like pressing reset button) and can't boot just say "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" only way to fix this is to hold power button and wait for like 20-30 sec to complete motherboard discharge after that It boot normaly but again after time this circle starts from beginning. It is weird because of low use of SSD I suspect PSU but Im afraid of doing tests because If Its PSU It can take all my component with It. I don't know what to do, maybe use Oscilloscope or professional meter and check manualy voltage 12V and 5V. What you think?

How old is the Tacens PSU?

Have you totaled up the wattage for all of your components and compared the sum to the PSU's wattage?

Could be your system is too much of a load on the PSU: components all at the high end of their respective power demands and the PSU at the low end of what it can support.

PSU is 3 years old and about total wattage I used one of the website calculators. If it's PSU problem what PSU band or exact model you would recommend?

A three year old PSU at load wattage is what I would consider being a likely suspect. If the PSU is starting to degrade and now about full load then it may no longer be up to the task.

What is your total wattage now? I would recommend at least 800 W if the load is actually at or close to 600 W.

I prefer not to make any specific product recommendations as there are often details left out that can and do make a difference in the product selection. The exception being that if I am personally using that product and can specifically state that the product does indeed address or otherwise resolve the problem at hand.

However, I have no problems with other members making specific product recommendations (i.e., a PSU) that they have used with a similar build and components.

And you must remember that any given product, new or old, can fail. No matter how highly rated and scored. Just a statistical matter.

So please do not shoot the messenger(s).

Thanks, article was great I've learned a lot from It, about 800W PSU , my friend work in computer service so I can borrow PSU from him tomorrow, and tell you results after testing, thanks for your advice.

OK, I've did some test It's definitely SSD fault, after putting new disk with system and startet benchmark (OOCT) and nothing crashed, everything worked fine, Im gonna send disk for warranty. Thanks for your time
