I am considering going from HDD to SSD in my primary laptop (Dell Latitude E6410) for performance reasons. I use the computer every day and one of its primary uses is as my primary PC at events my company does. So, reliability/stability is by far my #1 priority, much more so that anything else. I want something that is simply going to work and don't want to mess with something that will require tweaking to get it to work.

So, if I do jump for the SSD, I'm leaning towards the Samsung 830 based on all that I have read.

So, I guess my larger question is whether SSDs are far enough along yet to trust in a critical application like this, or whether I should wait it out a little while longer.

Thanks for any input.
