SSD in Lenovo Flex 3 Not Recognized

So I recently bought an SSD (Crucial MX 200 500gb) to put into my Lenovo Flex 3. For some reason, I was able to create the drive image without any problems from the 1tb that comes in it, and can see the data on the SSD when I plug it in, but the computer will not boot and the BIOS does not recognize the drive. This is so frustrating beyond belief and I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Kent

I should have spoken more clearly, I did clone the drive using acronis, not an image. The laptop will not post when that drive is in, and the BIOS does not recognize it either.

@KentDE - how did you resolve that issue? (I found this post because I'm about to pop in a SSD to my Flex 3 1120, and am trying to find advice to popping the bottom off)

Resolved by buying another drive lol

The Flex 3 apparently doesn't like the Micron controllers in Crucial's drives so I bought a Samsung 850 EVO. As far as pulling off the bottom, just carefully work your way from the back grate (where the air exhausts) around the laptop.
