SSD in side panel (behind motherboard) right next to the psu is safe?

I placed my ssd behind the motherboard tray in the bottom area, and my PSU is touching (or almost touching) the case panel. The ssd is mounted with double sided tape.

Will it be safe? and can it downgrade performance?

Should be fine. They don't make a lot of heat and are pretty much impact-proof.
