Hi, I have a Crucial BX100 250GB SSD drive, which I installed together with my Seagate Barracuda 2TB drive on the same day. When I open HDTune and check SMART attributes there is a big difference between power on hours of the Seagate drive and the Crucial drive. I installed both of these drives on February 10, 2015 so they should have identical power on hours count. But there's a problem. Seagate has 115 hours and Crucial only 22. From what I can tell, the Seagate drive is correct, because I have been using the computer for approximately 10 hours a day.
I thought that this might be a problem with the HDTune, that it is incorrectly reading SSD's SMART attributes, so I also tried Speedfan and CrystalDiskInfo. Unfortunately, these programs could not read the value at all. Then I tried Crucial Storage Executive, which gave me the same value as HDTune. I also checked Power Cycle Count attribute on both of the drives, which seem to be almost identical (Crucial - 59 and Seagate - 60).
So what is wrong? Why am I getting different values for power on hours count?
