Hi all,
I'm in the process of replacing the stock 4200rpm 100GB HDD of my Sony Vaio TZ180n with an SSD. I bought a 64GB Runcore Pro IV PATA Zif plus but when I install it, the BIOS wont recognize it. When I try to connect it via the included USB adapter to another computer it isn't recognized there either (the HDD I am attempting to replace works just fine through the same USB adapter).
Question is- Is there some sort of priming I need to do for this SSD or was it just DOA?
Thanks!
