Hi readers,

I would like an investigation into SSD drives, which is as follows.
What if you had 400 euro, what would your choice from the SSD drives.
And I think especially important that you then fill in why you choose it has been dropped, and then named as the brand / price or price / performance and the brand does not stand.

Poll: Welke SSD zou jij kiezen.
OCZ Vertex EX 60GB 260/200MB €611.10.-
Photofast 64GB 270/270MB €410.-
Intel X25E 64Gb 250/170Mb € 697,-
Kingston SSDnow E 64GB 250/170MB €708.75

Without including the previous gen. SLC or MLC based drives, here's what currently on the market (in brief).

Intel controller + SLC: X25-E
Intel controller + MLC: X25-M and the Kingston ones (carbon copy)
Samsung controller + SLC: Haven't seen new ones, either they're being used by corporate market or still prev. gen.
Samsung controller + MLC: OCZ Summit, Corsair P256 (carbon copy)
Indilinx controller + SLC: OCZ Vertex EX
Indilinx controller + MLC: OCZ Vertex, Patriot Torx, SuperTalent UltraDrive ME (almost carbon copy of another)

The rest of cheap ones made with MLC NAND are almost all JMF602(B) based and are not worth investigating due to the random write (stuttering) problem.
