I was trying out my new ssd on my test bench, when in the middle of a format my power went down. Now i cant install any os and in the disk management its marked as unallocated and it cant be initialized. please help.
This sounds pretty unfortunate! Have you tried swapping the SATA cable and the port on the motherboard where the SSD is connected? If you have access to another computer, I'd strongly recommend checking how the SSD would appear there as well. You can try to initialize it from there. Keep in mind that initializing and then formatting the drive would erase all the data you have previously stored on it.
If you haven't tried this already, I'd also suggestresetting BIOS. The settings will go back to factory defaults, so you will need to re-configure any manual changes you have made there (e.g. SATA mode and boot priorities).
Checking the health and SMART status using an SSD-specific diagnostic toolis also advisable!
SSD is connected, but it cant be used. I tried SSDlife for further information and it says that the SSD is healthy. Everything in SMART is named as unknown attribute. I tried wiping the partition in miniaide and nothing.
