SSD is only showing 8 of 32gb

Hello, I am having problems with my SSD. I was originally running Windows 8, but wanted to try SteamOS so I installed it on my computer. I didn't like it so I switched back to Windows 8. However, my previously 32gb SSD now only has 8gb on it. I went into disk management and it doesn't show anything else beside the 8gb partition. I know there is still space on it because when I boot into legacy mode and it shows my drives it shows it with ~29gb on it. Please help

Do you have your windows installation on the SSD drive? Windows 8 itself takes up around 20Gb of data wich would leave you with around 12gb max, with 4 gb memory that will take up around 4 Gb of space for Memory caching.

If you remove caching etc for the memorys and such you´d free up some space.

Sorry, forgot to mention that I have installed Windows 8 onto my hard drive not the SSD in question.

I figured it out...I think it was set up as RAID for some reason because I booted up in legacy mode and pressed cntr-I to view the drives and disabled RAID on that drive and then it worked. I have no idea how that happened but all my space is back now.
