SSD, is there anything better out now ?

i was advised to get myself a Samsung's 840 Evo series, but was not ready to buy one yet, now i am, going to order it tonight, is this still the best choice ?

A crucial MX100 would be good too. Get whichever is cheaper.

It's up there. The 850 Pro came out recently, which is better but also quite a bit more expensive. I'd say the 840 Evo is the still best allrounder out there right now. If you want more bang for your buck you should also consider Crucial's MX100. The smaller models are way slower though.
