My 500GB Samsung SSD isn't being detected by my PC. I also have a 2TB HDD and a 125GB SSD that is being detected. I use a SATA power splitter for the power and I've tested the SATA cables and it still isn't being detected. Is it possible that there is an issue with one of the connectors on my SATA power splitter? I find it odd that there would be an issue with one of the connectors and not the others. I also use AHCI mode, not IDE.

Solution
If the SSD still doesn't work after switching positions with the other storage devices, then it's most probably faulty. If you need your data, I can show you the voltage test points on the PCB.
