SSD just for OS

Just a quick question,
When i built my pc,i bought a SSD solely for the os.
Now when this is installed,would it be advisable for the program files to be on the same SSD or could i just install them on the other HDD.?
Im guessing if the program files were installed on the SSD ,it would be more beneficial ?

What size is it?

A 120+ SSD can hold quite a lot of applications, apart from games.

yes its the samsung 120 evo,
I reckon i could just install the games etc into the additional HDD,and just leave the SSD for the OS and programs.
