[SOLVED] SSD laptops

Hi. I am not a lover of lap tops. not as easy to repair as a desktop. Also if it gets a knock then the hard disk could suffer. So can you get SSD's they may be more expensive but more reliable?

Can you get laptops with solid state drives?
Sure. There are dozens hundreds.

While technically solid state drives, eMMC are generally small and slow.
My ASUS Transformer has a 64GB eMMC.

Amazon.co.uk lists hundreds.
