I want to ask if Kingston a400 ssd m.2 which is SATA works with lenovo s340 or no ?
Because I install one on my laptop but it doesn’t work.

The A400 is a SATA drive.

It appears your laptop only has a NVMe M.2 port.

It will not work.

I think USAFRet might have a point
There are 4 models of the S340 and one of them (151WL) ...I think ....supports M.2 SATA. But when trying to buy a SSD from Lenovo for that model, M.2 SATA is not a choice...so it could be a typo.
To be safe, get a M.2 NVMe SSD....since they all support it.
