hi there, i want to buy an SSD M.2 from Adata which is SX6000, from the spesification, it is utilizing a PCIe Gen3 x2 interface.

i want to use this M.2 SSD with the Gigabyte GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 which i've read from the manual said that using M.2 PCIe x2 SSD will not consume any sata ports.

my question, if i install this M.2 SSD SX6000, can i use all 6 SATA ports for my other HDDs?

really need help. i just want to utilize all the 6 SATA ports.. thanks

Read the user manual.

https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/GA-AB350M-Gaming-3-rev-1x#sp
"* Refer to "1-7 Internal Connectors," for the installation notices for the M.2 and SATA connectors."

An x2 PCIe drive in the m.2 port will not consume any SATA ports.

An x4 drive, when using a Ryzen processor, will consume 2 SATA ports.
