Two days ago I got the BSOD with the following error. WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR. On reboot Win10 the system went to the BIOS settings and Win10 failed to start. On closer inspection, I saw the boot sequence no longer has the SSD M2 listed where Win10 resides. That would explain why Win10 not initializing. Just wondering if the SSD has gone to the land of the Dodo or can the SSD M2 be revived in BIOS

MB Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master
Samsung 970 EVO plus 1TB
Win 10

Solution
Recently it appeared in the Boot menu but disappeared again after save and exit. Now not showing again. The SSD which housed the Win10 for about a year.
It's not common for SSD's to fail since they have no moving parts. Try clearing the CMOS to see if that makes any difference.
