Hello I just got my Samsung SSD 850 EVO and I have a problem to migrate my data from HDD to my SSD. The SSD appears as full on the data migration software and so I just can't migrate data.

Solution
The size of the partition that you are trying to migrate from the HDD is greater than the SSD capacity - - it won't fit.

You need to "shrink" the C partition on the HDD till it's small enough to fit on the SSD.
You can do that in Windows Disk Management (Shrink Volume).

If it won't shrink small enough, you will either have to "clean install" Windows on to the SSD, or buy an SSD with a higher capacity than the one you have now.

Your problem seems to be not one of partition size but rather that the total amount of data contents on your 1 TB appears to be larger than the disk-space capacity of your 500 GB Samsung SSD.

My French language capability is virtually non-existent but as best I can make out from your screenshot it appears your 1 TB source disk contains about 798 GB of data. Is that correct?

If it is, you could not clone the contents of that disk to the 500 GB disk unless you reduce those contents to a point less than the disk-space capacity of the 500 GB disk.
