When I plug the SSD into my computer (internally) it takes hours to load (not the case without it) It does not show in Disk Management, nor can I type in Disk part (running as admin), the drive shows up in bios and device manager, so recently I installed Ease US partition master which shows the drive as unallocated, however this takes so long to load, everything to do with the hard drive takes absolutely ages. I am unsure what is going on, I am just trying to format the assumed corrupted drive.

full system spec?
how old is this ssd?
Its related to the SSD when it's not plugged in the pc loads fine, disk manager works, cmd diskpart works, etc etc when its plugged in (the ssd) all the disk related stuff loads extremly slowly, and cmd diskpart does not let me type, I will try to reinstall the drivers and see if this helps, I am just looking to format the drive as I believe this will fix the issue.
