So I built a PC a few months ago, and it's been working great. I had a 240 GB SSD for my OS and a few other things and today I went to take a nap, and when I did, I woke up to a a screen telling me to choose a boot device, and I thought that was pretty strange. When I went into the BIOS found that it wasn't being recognized at alll. Did my SSD die?

MB: ASRock Fatal1ty z97x
RAM: HyperX Savage
CPU: Intel i5 4690k
PSU: SeaSonic 520w 80+ Bronze
HDD: WD 1TB
SSD: PNY XLR8 240GB

Edit: Using my system browser, my motherboard is telling me that in the slot where my SSD sata cable it's saying "SandForce{200026BB}" with 0.0G of storage.

Hey there, EpicBox.

Have you done any OS updates recently or installed new software? Have you had any issues with the SSD before? Do you need to recover data?
First of all, I'd recommend that you try the SSD with a different computer to see if the same thing happens, or at least with a different SATA port and SATA cables on yours. You could also try resetting or updating your BIOS in order to see if this fixes the issue.

Please let me know how everything goes.
