SSD not detected in BIOS

IRONBATMAN

Honorable
Hi,

Recently, after cleaning my PC, my SSD would not get detected in BIOS. I have already set it to ACHI mode, I have tried different wires and SATA slots, but it still doesn't work.

Any ideas ?

Hey, IRONBATMAN!

Another idea besides the ones you've already tried, would be to update the BIOS if you can.
If you can't boot into Windows, you can do that from the BIOS or from DOS as well.
You should also check your SSD for any recent firmware updates.
I'd also enable the hot plug on the SATA port and see if it will get your SSD detected.

Hope any of these work for you. Keep me posted! :)
