Question SSD not detecting in bios and windows 10

Recently i bought Asus Tuf fx505dy bq002t gaming laptop with 8gb ram and 560x 4gb ddr5 graphics. To increase performance i bought wd green 240 gb ssd. and tried to install it in the m2 ssd slot. But after placing it in the socket.it was not get detected by bios or windows.

Check the specs. The laptop does support a PCIe SSD. The WD is SATA, right?

Green is Sata and is indeed available in an M.2 configuration.

What do you mean by available? SATA m.2 is not supported by his laptop. He needs a PCIe m.2 drive.

He could get a sata m.2 to 2.5 in adapter if he has a spare sata bay.

Which is probably why his WD Green Sata M2 drive doesn't work in his laptop; right?
or did you not know an M2 drive could come in Sata instead of NVME?
