Hello everyone I have a question that you guys could maybe help me figure out a solution. I recently purchased a Crucial MX100 256gb SSD and installed it on my system. Once I got it detected and installed Windows 7 everything was fine and dandy and still is. But after a few months of usage I found out that I had it plugged into my 3Gb/s SATA port instead of the 6Gb/s port. So I went in and plugged it into the 6Gb/s but once I did my mobo wouldn't detect the SSD. I tried each port but it will only detect it in the 3Gb/s. The speeds compared to my HDD was phenomenal so I ignored it for the time. But as I have read I am bottlenecking my SSD being plugged into the slower port. If anyone could help me out on this issue it would be greatly appreciated. By the way my motherboard is the ASUS Maximus V Gene with the Z77 chipset. Thank you
