Question SSD not displaying in boot sequence.

I have an issue where my HDD was no longer showing in my boot sequence I figured it was probabaly going bad so I went out and replaced it with a SSD which instantly worked I imaged it with windows 10 and it work fine for about 2 months but now my computer has gone back to it's old ways of not detecting my SSD again iv tested it with other computers and it work just fine anyone have any ideas what it could be?

What motherboard or computer model is it, and how old? Have you upgraded bios recently?

Best case scenario is that only the cmos battery need to be replaced.

One of my SSD's did this and required I update the firmware on it.
