[SOLVED] SSD not found anywhere

I have tried everything, ssd not showing up in disk management, diskpart, its a normal second ssd that i use in my laptop out of nowhere it goes missing. It is recognized in BIOS but cant find it anywhere else... PLS HELP

nope 🙁 tried to scan for hardware changes in everything and theres nothing else new to update as well....

Drive is probably dead. You could try a bootable Linux USB to try and see if the data and SSD show up there

thats what i thought too but its showing up in BIOS tho, have no idea why its not showing up anywhere else

Fix:

• open Device Manager
• expand IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
• right click on Standard SATA AHCI Controller, select Uninstall
• reboot, after reboot drive shows up in Device Manager
