[SOLVED] SSD not running at rated speed

Hey guys, my main drive- intel 520 series 128gb, is running at half the speed of my secondary SSD, Crucial MX500.
Have enabled AHCI. Is there any reputable SSD software I could run to give everyone a better idea of my issue?

Both drives are plugged into the only two available sata 3 ports. Motherboard limitations? Throwing this out there, Can both SATA3 ports run at full speed or is there a hidden limitation?

intel is a older smaller drive.

Intel is older model and doesn't have the write performance of the MX500.

Up to 550 MB/s (SATAIII) Read
Up to 280 MB/s (SATAII) Write

Write is a little slow , but it's also your OS drive , so it will be slower.

Ahhhh, ^$^##, sorry for being a pleb. The proof is in the pudding there thanks a bunch @rgd1101 . Always learning Time to upgrade to another 500gb ssd and get rid of the intel. 😀
