I have an OCZ Vertex 4 with Windows 10 . It was acting odd on boot sometimes not sjowing as boot drive but would come up aftr a reboot or 2 and then last week Windows 10 updated and when it came back up I couldn't flip the cover screen to log in. I restarted the computer. When the ssd goes to the Windows 10 loading screen it spins for a while and I get a inaccessible drive error after I restart the drive won't be seen by the bios either. If I unplug the power to the ssd and back in the bios will see the drive. If I load another drive and boot to it the ssd drive can be seen but when I try to access it it drops off. I've tried loading from Windows 10 repair disk but when the drive is accessible I get a watchdog error..

I'm not sure what to do now bios will see it after I unplug and plug it back in. But I can't get any OS to do anything with it.

Hey there, Anonymous-prime.

Do you have important data on that drive which you wish to recover or not? If you have important data, I'd recommend that you try and make a clone of that SSD so that you can work on the clonned drive for data recovery.
However if you do not need to recover data, I'd suggest that you try the drive with a different SATA port and cables, or even better - a different computer, to see if the same thing happens. Once you've booted to a different drive, since you can see the SSD, I'd suggest that you download an SSD diagnostic tool to test that drive and see if any errors pop-up. You could also try updating its firmware if there's an available update. Also, try resetting or updating your BIOS/UEFI, to see if that...

Hope that helps. Please let me know how everything goes.
