Hi everyone, I am having issue with booting up my PC to windows after a recent upgrade. My PC keeps booting to bios and in the settings under boot, my SSD is not showing up as booting priority. I have a Ryzen 7 5800x, MSI B550 Motherboard, 2x8GB sticks of DDR4 RAM 3200MHz, Samsung 860 Evo external SSD, a MSI RTX 2070 Super and a Corsair 750x Power supply. Although my Motherboard is Brand new, as well as my CPU and PSU I'm having trouble with locating my SSD as a booting priority. I have tried switching the cables in case of a faulty cable, I have checked all connections, removed my hard drive, switched SATA ports, plugged in a USB to check if its an issue with my motherboard but the USB shows up as normal, I have check the system status to see if my SSD is working and in the system status is shows that my SSD is in SATA 6, switched the BIOS mode to UEFI and the only other issue that I could think of is updating my BIOS but I didn't think much of it because its a new motherboard. It says that my BIOS Build date is 08/11/2022 if that's any help.

If you can boot from a usb then the ssd is most likely at fault; its not the hardware. When a drive does not appear in the boot list that generally indicates that the portion of the drive containing the boot loader is damaged. You should be prepared to reinstall Windows.
