My ssd shows up properly in Disk management, Partition, Device manager and even shows up in hard disk sentinel and diskpart in cmd. Whenever I load it, it says "Please select a bootdrive" and when The SATA cable isn't in slot 0 it doesnt show up on boot priority.
and when my usb with a windows installation is plugged in and I boot from the WD ssd it boots windows and cuts to a blinking underscore. Im using a WD Green as my bootdrive (the one that wont work) and WD purple as storage. Ive been at this for like 5 hours, I tried updating my bios, checking csm, getting out the cmos battery and putting it back in, tried installing new windows on the said SSD but it seems like nothing would work.

The problem started when I swapped out my SSD to test a seagate 500 gb HDD that was used in an MSI system and doesnt work and now that i switched back my ssd windows boot manager wont show. Im on an asus motherboard Prime H310M-E-R.20

I just hope i wouldn't have to buy a new ssd.

When you test a system disk in another configuration windows try to "repair" it by changing drivers and settings. Once you put it back it tries same thing and may not succeed.
Blinking underscore means that BOOT files are missing.
