ssd not showing up in boot priority list

Hello
i have a slight problem
My ssd with windows is not listet in the boot priority list, but it is listed in the boot menu list.the ssd works perfectly (aevrything works, including windows 8.1) , but the boot time is a bit slow. I have tried to change the sata ports, but that doesnt change the problem. the ssd is connected to slot 1. do you have a solution to this problem?
