Hello

I have 2 ssds, both are showing up. first 1 i have installed windows on and the second one isnt doing anything.

On device manager both show up.

Samsng 840 evo series.
samsung 840 pro series.

But my problem is the pro 1 isnt showing up atall in disk management so i cant make it a partition and make it like a scratch disk.

Is it not working properly? I assume its working fine because its showing up in disk drives. But no where else.

I also installed it in ahci mode or whatever it is so it should be fine.

Any ideas?

How do i do that? im in device manager went to properties i dont see partition or anything.

No i cant see it, I can see one of them but not the other. I dont understand because it shows up in devices so surely its working and the description of it sais 'device working properly'

But it dosnt. because a box pops up for him so it dosnt apply to me. and this is with a hdd which i did exactly the same thing with mine but its my ssd which is not working.

btw it does not matter at all whether is is a HDD or SSD, you have to do it anytime you want to install a new clean drive, whether it be SSD, HDD, or SSHD, this is the exact method every time

Does it help atall that it sais its Bus Number 2. Target ID 0. LUN 0.

wait what? as long as you have it plugged into the motherboard drive header, and plugged into the PSU, providing it is a good drive, it should automatically show in the disk manager like it does in the video, if it does not, it is a bad drive.
