Hi all, I recently built myself a pc, and I installed both an HDD and an SSD. However, the SSD is not showing up in either disk management or This PC (Windows 10 version of MY Computer). It is visible in device manager and when I click on the tab is just says "This device is working properly." Someone on another forum said to format it in the disk manager section, however it is not visible there. It was briefly, but then was not. It is registered in my BIOS, but I have no access to it. If it matters, I intend to use the SSD to store my games. Any help you could lend would be greatly appreciated!

Hey there, Austin_61.

Just a thought, but the OS on the SSD will be much more beneficial for the whole system instead of using it just for your games. Perhaps you'd still have some space left for a few games on it - the ones that have the most loading time and screens.

As for the issue at hand, I'd recommend that you try the SSD with a different SATA port and different cables, or better yet with a different computer, to see if the same thing happens. If it shows up, check for an available firmware update for your SSD model and install it to see if the issue still persists.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how it goes.
