So i have 3 ssd in my pc, one for windows and 2 for games.
So a few days ago, i noticed that after windows booting, my steam wount open. My Chrome opened with no issue (its installed on another ssd), but basicly anything on ssd2 wount open. I cant acces it via disc management (if just wount open or freeze for like 5-10 mins), and same goes for file explorer ( i cant open ssd2 for 5-10 mins). I can use anything on first ssd the one that has system on it with no problem, and after 5-10 minuts it works with no problem, steam launches, file explorer and disk manager also launches and work properly, and all is alright and well.

Ssd in question is wds500g2b0a and is connected via sata. it worked fine so far. I just dont know what is it - is it dying or is it some sort of sofware bug that can be fixed? Any advice would be appreciated.

Solution
With system power off and power removed, I'd first try swapping /reversing SATA data cables and power to drive in question with those from another functioning SSD, and, see if problem sticks with the SATA drive in question.

If original drive in question remains problematic, as it is already having issues, perhaps a removal of apps on it, quick format/reinstall of apps that were on it might solve any simple glitch. If it does not, well SSDs do fail occasionally, some seemingly more often than others.
