Hi guys,
I bought a Toshiba q300 120gb ssd 2 months ago, I was using it on my laptop with windows 10, it always worked fine until yesterday when I was using the laptop and the battery died, when I started the laptop after that the ssd was not booting or showing up in the BIOS, I tried to put it in other pcs and an external hard drive case but no response...
Please help!! Is not a cheap ssd and I don't want to spend money buying a new one

Hey there.

Does the SSD at least show up in the BIOS while connected to a different computer? If yes, have you checked Disk Management as well: How to access Disk Management in Windows. If it's detected by Disk Management, would you please post a screenshot of what you see there.
I'd also recommend that you try testing it with a diagnostic tool (if it's recognized), or try updating its firmware if there's an available update for that SSD model.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how everything goes.

the ssd does not show up in the bios, tried different pcs but nothing, tried to reinstall windows form a usb drive but jost the 2nd hardrive showed up..

Unfortunately, if the SSD is not recognized even by any of the BIOS' of the computers you've tried it with, it really sounds like the SSD has failed. The only thing you could do at this point is contact the vendor you got it from and/or the manufacturer if the drive is still under warranty and RMA it.

Sorry for the grim news. 🙁
