[SOLVED] SSD NVME not compatible?

Hi, i replace my NVME SSD, it fit but the point its different... Is this compatible? The older is the right one... Thanks

Your current SSD has an M type connector that works with 4 PCI-e lanes. The new SSD has a B & M type connector that works with 2 PCI-e lanes. The new SSD is a WD SN520 and as far as I can find it's a PCI-e3.0 x2 SSD so the 2 PCI-e lanes of the B&M type connector is correct. Probably the new SSD is slower than your old one because half the lanes is half the speed. Performance wise it's a downgrade because SN520 is a very low-end DRAM less NVME SSD.

Edit: the answer to your question: yes, it's compatible.

Its a HP X360 Spectre, i read now that two holes its Sata and one Hole is NVME...
If a laptop read NVME should also read sata, no? I am trying to format but i says that dont have a boot device...
