[SOLVED] ssd/nvme only works after switching power outlet

I had this problem with my old SATA ssd aswell until I gave up and bought a nvme now i have the same issue on my nvme I have tried almost everything resetting bios, changing settings and messing with the cables I am all lost for hope


the nvme worked fine for like 2 weeks before having this issue again

So does it show up if you don't use that adapter you added?
...as in...
if you just unplug it and replug it into the outlet?

OR....do you have to have the adapter to get the drive to show.
it does show up I just need to use a different power outlet everytime I want to use my pc because thats the only way i have found to make the ssd/nvme work, the adapter is just there so i wouldn't plug the pc to the other side of the room

I think it is probably the PSU or MB and most likely the PSU. (if it's not the outlet itself).
I don't think it's something else.
Just out of curiosity...how did you confirm the outlet has a ground?
my dad is electrician I checked with one of those plug tools
