SSD or extra HDD?

Hi i have around 50 gb left on my gaming pc and i want to either buy an extra 1 tb hdd or buy an ssd for my future build. Which is the better option?

What are you currectly using for a boot drive ? I tend to use only certain games I know would take advantage of a ssd like bf4. All my other games I put on a hdd.

Hi there tytds,

You will experience considerably shorter boot/loading times.
You can get a small SSD for your OS and heaviest games and application as sydneyblue203 suggested.
Yet, in case you really need storage space, you can go with larger HDD. It really depends on your needs.

a 250 gb ssd will suffice for putting my os on it? I only have 50 gb left on my 1 tb hdd and im looking to upgrade my whole system; video card, fans, cpu, power supply, etc....

Yes, a 250 GB SSD would be more than enough for your OS. You would have some storage space for games/programs as well.
You can keep all the other data on the HDD.
