I've got a fairly solid build, however I find the system a bit sluggish at times. I know throwing an ssd in would help tremendously. But I also need to be able to play all games at 1080p maxxed. Right now my build is
CPU:AMD FX-8320@4.5
GPU:SAPPHIRE R9 270X
RAM:8GB 1600 DDR3
MOBO:ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
HDD: 2TB WD RED
my build was good until shadow of mordor came out and now I can't max my games without huge frame drops. Fallout 4 and RSS being the major 2. The ssd is the cheaper way to go, but will give better load times and desktop performance, but will do just about nothing for my frame rate. The GPU however would make gaming phenomenal but I'd have to deal with slower load times and a sluggish desktop. If I go for an SSD I want to go for the 500gb Samsung 850 EVO, and for the GPU the MSI TWIN FROZR GTX 970. I'm leaving the upgrade decision to you as I really want both and can't make up my mind. I'm also considering waiting for Pascal, but I'm not sure about the performance boost it would bring over the 9xx series.
