Hi, I'm building a gaming PC and I'm wondering if it's worth it to buy a SSD. I was planning to buy a 500GB samsung evo 850 pro and an extra 2tb HDD. But do I have any avantage by it? I will probably store my game library on the HDD. But what to do with the SSD? Install windows on it? So should I go with an SSD/HDD setup or only HDD or even only 1tb SSD and no HDD?

Solution
usually, in the ssd, it would be OS then some games that you like to load fast. or those that takes time to load.
500gb is good but if you want to save some money just get a 256/240gb. it should be enough for most
depend on your budget and what games are you going to play, if you are need many storage then
for no budget use 1 TB/2TB ssd
for low budget,i think you should go for 1 hdd, cuz 500GB won't store many or ssd only for storing windows won't help gaming
