Hear me out, I understand that a 500 GB HDD is the standard choice for storage/basic. But I've heard that sometimes it is more economical to buy a mid-sized SSD and then add an HDD later. I think that this might work out well for me because I only plan on installing Windows and like two to five games from Steam, Battlefield 4, League of Legends and maybe two free games I'm getting from the graphics card bundle. The rest of the time I'm using the PC for day-to-day stuff: email, YouTube, Netflix etc. My question is, if it is cheaper to get a mid-sized SSD then say a 500GB or 1TB HDD then which one should I get this Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

I don't know about cheaper, but
I will never again build without a ssd for the "C" drive. It makes everything you do much quicker.
120gb is minimum, it will hold the os and a handful of games. If you can go 240gb, you may never need a hard drive.
I don't.
I would defer on the hard drive unless you need to store large files such as video's.
It is easy to add a hard drive later.
Samsung EVO is a good choice.
Intel is OK too.
Sales of the evo abound, even 500gb might be a good deal.
