SSD or save for cpu upgrade?

Hi everyone, at the moment I have a ASUS p8h61-m lx with a i5 2400 and 8gb@1333mhz. I was wondering if I should keep saving for a upgrade or should I get a SSD?

What do you do with your computer, while the 2400 is no speed demon it is no slouch either.

What things do you want to be faster on your computer?

Only you can answer that question. An SSD will get you faster boot times and faster load times on games / programs. No performance increase gaming wise. It was worth it for me for the faster load times alone.

I know it won't increase gaming performance, but like I understand it, it will speed my load and boot times up by considerable amount. But should buy one or keep saving.

Yes get the ssd, the cpu can handle any GPU available.

What GPU do you have? That should probably be what you want to upgrade for better game performance.

I have a gtx760 and at 1600x900 it will play every game at high settings but I am looking for reduced load and boot times.

If you were to upgrade, what would you upgrade to?

I will probably go for an 4670K and overclock it, but i decided i will get the SSD and wait for 5th gen i5 maybe.

Well, reducing load isn't really possible, but fast boot times will be definitely a result of an SSD upgrade.
