Hello
I got samsung ssd 850 evo 500gb

i use over provisioning 10% (recommended by the samsung magician )

I was told i shouldn't fill my ssd to it's peak

so now iam wondering since iam using over provisioning, so i can fill the ssd as much as i want or i still need to keep alot of free space so the ssd performance won't drop ?
thanks for taking time to review this question <3

Yes. The over provisioning is to ensure space is left on the SSD, for the wear leveling to do its thing.
So...10% = 50GB, leaving 450GB.
(actually 500=465-10%=410GB actual usable space)

But...if you are getting that close, it's time for another drive, some cleanup, or some space management.
