Question SSD Password BIOS

Hello,why i can´t set hdd password on my SSD Crucial MX500 ?
I can set only admin and user password

Admin and user passwords are to get into the bios.
Also, if you see or set an HDD password in the bios, it does not encrypt the drive but does lock it from being accessed. This 'lock' is often easy to work around.

Encrypting the whole drive requires a a supported motherboard & harddrive if using Windows, or a 3rd party app.

Without knowing which motherboard you have to see if it has the necessary chip on it, You'll be limited to other solutions then Windows.
